Sam | Cape Town Newborn Photographer

Meet little Sam….. he is honestly one in a million. I have never known such a wide awake little newborn before. We did our very very best to get sleeping images of Sam, but in two shoots we literally had about 3 minutes of him with his eyes closed. Its like his mom said, Sam heard the word photoshoot, and his eyes went Ping… everyone knows you must be wide awake with bright blue eyes for photoshoots!!!

We started off in Hout Bay, and unfortunately had THE worst weather in a long time, it was unbelievably dark. We tried for a while to get Sam to sleep, but to no avail, so we moved on to some shots with granddad….

Then with Granny
 Some with mom, and then the tears started….. He had a little feed, nodded off. I layed him down to start shooting and Bam … bright blue eyes again 🙂
We only got a couple of images off before the little guy was hungry again, so we got a few little feet shots while he was feeding…..
So … we decided to try again a few days later… and we still had the biggest bright blue eyes, but at least we had a happy little chappy too! We started off with dad this time,A few with mom and dadA couple more with dad…
How beautiful is he??Then some with Gran who came all the way from Boston USABy then our little friend was tired, mom managed to get him off to sleep… finally…
Yah… we have lift off.. Sam is asleep…Umm no…. Sam is awake 🙂Sam is smilingSam is not sleepingSam is hanging out with mom And then, as we finally called it a day, Sam decides to pose for some last shots with mom, fast asleep!! He closed his eyes… just like that, just for mom…Sam, you are one little guy, that I will never forget xxxxx
